Happy New Year people!
:D
SO much has changed in the past year.
Hell, so much has changed in general. Erik and I were cleaning out the back storage/computer room and came across SO much of my old stuff. Old pictures, old clothes, even old cassette tapes (yeah, you know, those things that nobody who didn't live in the 80's ever owned.) It was really crazy. I showed him stuff from back in the day when I was a little girl and rocked out to the 80s, my high school memorabilia and all its rebellion with my discovery of the wonderful world of punk (which was NOT about a "scene" or fucking HAIR back then), stuff from when I first was on my own (party pictures, plastic clothes, old lingere) and even things from the past year- as The Halfway has slowed down due to my commitment to owning a company and the difference in the age and types of people who crash here. In this past year, I've cleaned up, cleaned out and even gotten engaged. I don't honestly think I could be more satisfied with where my life is right now.
I do admit I didn't complete my New Year's resolution from last year- which was to attempt to get into contact with relatives beyond my immediate family but I don't feel that bad about it because I gained a family from Erik. (Which is kinda amusing to type as his younger brother Kevin is sitting next to me on the other computer :P) I don't really know what to make my resolution for this year because I don't think there's anything I'd really like to change right now. I'm happy with my relationship, my looks, my finacial status, and even my home. So I guess I'll just stick with Happy New Year to ALL and count down to owning that Prius now that January is actually here :D
Much love!

Prius?!?!
A flerking Prius?!? That's quite a switch. From a 1978 (it is a '78 right?) tank of a Buick to a tiny hybrid Toyota. Talk about opposite ends of the spectrum.January 4 2006, 04:16:43 UTC 6 years ago
Breaking even
What can I say, I'm sure I owed the ozone a band-aid...
